But first we are going to learn that what is arduino and why we use it? So, guys arduino is a opensource microcontroller prototyping platform. which is developed on AVR atmega microcontroller series . It’s very simple and user friendly in programming and interfacing, also you can develop amazing projects on this controller board in short period of time. If you have any previous experience with microcontrollers then might be possible that you have heard about AVR microcontrollers. But if you are a complete beginner then does not make any difference. This piece of hardware completely for you.
So, let’s start with the very first and very famous board of arduino series “Arduino uno R3”.
Aruino Uno R3
Arduino uno is the very basic and most famous board of arduino platform, which was built on the Atmega328P microcontroller of AVR series of Atmel.
The primary features of Arduino Uno R3 are,
- 14 digital input/output pins with 6 PWM output.
- 6 pin for analog inputs.
- On board 16 MHz of crystal oscillator.
- B-type USB port for sketch uploading.
- 6 ICSP headers for uploading bootloader program.
- Power jack for external DC power supply
- Reset button
For the programming purpose you can download the Arduino IDE from the official website of arduino, which is arduino.cc or you can download the Arduino IDE from this Download link. It’s open source and completely free.
Steps to Download Arduino IDE
Step 1: Click on Download Link
Step 2: Click on “Windows Installer” or “Windows ZIP file for non admin install”
Step 3: Now, Click on “Just Download”
Step 4: Now your download is start
Step 5: After finishing the download install .exe windows installer.
Note: If you are downloading “Windows ZIP file for non admin install”, then no need the install the IDE. Just unzip the zip file, open the folder and click on “arduino.exe”. After that enjoy your arduino ide.
